dreambox 500c

    HELLLLLLLLLLLLLP. I just got my Dreambox (500c) in the post at mid day. I have been trying to flash an image unto it since but that is not working. I have tried to scan transponders but i am not getting any channel. I am using a serial cable. I am connected to N*L. Please help me b4 i do something really stupid.

    Flash a UK modded dreambox image and do a scan.

    I have the image which i downloaded earlier. But i am having diffficulty using Dreamup what could be wrong here. Everytime i am asked to switch on the 500c; nothing happens after i have switched it on

    Disable network inside dreamup and use a real nullmodem cable.
