Drive Sees 4.7 DVD-R as 2.3gigs

    Have a Lite On LDW_411S and when using DVD Decrypter trying to burn the disk it says the blank media has only 2,297,888 sectors. The latest firmware is on this drive and Aspi drivers are 4.71.2. Any help would be greatly appeciated......

    I'm not too familiar with DVD Decrypter so I can't rule that out. Have you tried other programs? Also does this happen with all your disc's? If so, what type disc, DVDR or DVDRW? The reason I ask is I had something similar happen with DVD-RW's 1X after I updated my firmware,. Nero would no longer erase them properly.

    Every Program that recognizes the burner gives this error I tried Nero but it doesn't recognize the drive Record Now DX, DVD Clone And Decrypter all give this error......I used Memorex and Ritek G03 media..
