    I aggree, that is what I have been using for about 1 month. My movies are as crisp and clear as the original. Sony, no bologna.

    Who cares!! I use Pioneer A05, and i dont need to brag about it, and it works fine and dont have to pay $ 200 extra just to use the Sony's brand name. And also the Clear and crisp movie is not based on your burner, but on the Encoding techniques used in creating the movie file.

    Just my 2 cents, thats all

    I also aggree, it takes the right process as well. I just like the Sony cause I learned that it burns + and -, the speed doesn't matter because they will have one's twice as fast tomorrow.

    the dru-500a is the only -,+,compatible burner still not the pioneer and it is not $200 more i got this burner for $313 and your right who cares like i said it rocks!
