i have a american DSI it is only a month old . I used another SD card from my friend to try out some games but a got a black screen general error message to power off .When i put in my original Sd card with games i got same meassge .I have tried several times including taking card out/in but i can't get my SD games to work (they worked fine prior to this)
Rest of DSI functions works fine although the left hand bottom corner can fail.
I have tried nonsense blowing in SD slot .
I phoned nintendo uk they say it needs openiing up for repair -trouble is it is not covered by europe warranty

I got games with the DS -they worked fine - but it all went wrong when my friend tried his card - but even that shouldn't cause failiure
Wonder if memory format or battery re insert is worth a try?
