ok guys, I need your help. Am planning on switching to DSL from cable. So, what DSL would you guys recommend for optimum dl speed using bit torrents? I live in GTA part of Toronto (North York). Also, DSL is way faster than cable right?

    THANKS IN ADVANCE

Ok, so can you kindly tell me whats the best option to get higher dl speed in p2p client? I heard that DSL is way better than cable. hmmm....
Am really confused right now. What r u guys using?

based from this site my dl rate is 902kbps. I want to get higher than that. So DSL? Or should I stick with my cable modem?

Oh, one more thing. Is DSL connected to a phone just like the dial up?

i can't download in my dorm. the ports are blocked.

what connection speed is your cable rated at? if you're having slow downloads, and you've done the port forwarding all all those little tricks, then i'd mark you downloads due to too few seeders sharing at a decent upload speed.

    *edit*
ah, the beauty of a screwed up college network: my download is 468 kbps, my upload is 1.55[bold]Mbps[/bold].
