What r u guys using? based from this site my dl rate is 902kbps. I want to get higher than that. So DSL? Or should I stick with my cable modem? Oh, one more thing. i can't download in my dorm. the ports are blocked. what connection speed is your cable rated at? if you're having slow downloads, and you've done the port forwarding all all those little tricks, then i'd mark you downloads due to too few seeders sharing at a decent upload speed. *edit* ah, the beauty of a screwed up college network: my download is 468 kbps, my upload is 1.55[bold]Mbps[/bold].
Yes, I have done all those tricks to get higher speeds. I always download a good ratio file. Like: 20000 seeder/ 7000leechers I have rogers high speed cable
