Ok, I have a motherboard that I know is capable of dual channel, and I will be getting an exact match to my current RAM stick today sometime.

My question is, from start to finish, how do I make my RAM dual channel? Starting from "Take the side off of your case."

    I'd do it like this:

I'd look at your manual, find which slots the ram need to be in to run in dual channel. Stick the ram in those slots and boot up your machine. It should take care of everything from there.

I've read your other posts Divinus, you obviously are not very bright. I think I will wait and see what DDP has to say since he seems to be more experienced, and obviously been on the forums longer. He probably even has an A+.

    Oh... ok :*(

No big deal. ddp is pretty experienced but I think he'd agree with me on this one.
