    I have a few questions: -

Does a dual core mean that if i buy a 2.0ghz dual core - it will be 4.0ghz???

What does a dual core actually have and what does it actually do? that a normal core doesnt?

dual core means the cpu has two processing sections instead of one. That means it can do some tasks quicker because it can split the work. Software needs to be specially written to use this.

No it does not run at 4.0 GHz.
