I seem to remember it being possible to have 2 CD-R/RW's in your PC with Nero and Adaptec EZCD Creator back in the day. Is it possible now to have installed in your PC two DVD-R/RW Drives so that you can burn two DVD's from an image simultaniously? Also if it is possible do you have to change any special settings in Nero or add a plug-in to do it?

    Thanks,

    Brokk

Yes. Nero 6.1.3.25 has a multiple burner facility. When you get to the select burner window, you will see the box to check, then it should ask you to select devices. Simple as that!! Alcohol 120% also has this facility. It is quite handy too!!

By the way, the software usually requires you to have the same burners fitted & flashed with the same firmware. This is to ensure that the data can be processed by both burners at the same time. I have a Pioneer dvr108 & a Piodata dvr108dx. They are essentially the same burner & they work together very well, best buds! Hope this helps.
    Kind regards.

Don't have any packet writing software installed either & be selective with your anti-virus software.

Thank you for your help. I wouldn't dream of installing any crappy packet writing software like in-cd or drag-to-disk. I am using McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.0. Do you see any problems I should know about useing it?
