dump or download?

    i was just wondering what most on this forum does...dump or download torrents?

    I used to download to get backups. This was time consuming and resulted in obtaining broken images sometimes. I bought the hardware to make the backups myself and have been dumping ever since.

    If you're looking to archive your collection, forking over $20 for the right LG drive beats spending litterally DAYS downloading what MIGHT be a good dump.

    yea i'm afraid of dl broken images but for now it's just easier for me and it takes me about 20 hrs for one. i have plenty of time while i wait for my wii to be shipped to me.

    Downloading with Giganews is just as good as having an LG drive. Do some research on newsgroups. With Giganews and COX Cable I can DL a backup in about an hour.

    9Mb\per second over 10 concurrent connections
    (Mb=Megabits not MB=Megabytes)

    takes me a couple of days to DL a game, its a bummer, I would buy an LG drive if I were you
