What´s the difference among this kind of media. Can i record 4 hours of a movie without reducing the quality in a dvd 4.7 Gb 240 minutes ?

    Thanks in advance.

It's not the media that is different (as far as to say that different brands of media are not different in that they all are recordable 4.7/4.36GB media) it is the encoding. You can store 240 min of video and audio but it will not be of dvd quality, this may not matter if you're burning home movies, but for movies it is very mush necesary to encode at the highest rate possible, but that is an entirely different topic all together.
