Hi, I have 3 AVI files which are all in 4:3 AR. These play fine and correct individually via Media Player or VLC Player.
I created DVD files using Nero Vision 10 with a simple link to each on a Menu.
In the Video_TS directory the VOB files individually play fine in 4:3 AR but when I play the resulting DVD as soon as I hit the link to each file it goes into 16:9.
I did save the DVD as 4:3 in Nero. Ive used .PgcEdit to check the AR and all 3 files are (4:3). The menu is in 4:3 fine but switches to 16:9 when I click the link to any of the files. Does anyone know what Im doing wrong or what the problem is? Thanks.

The aspect ratio information is in the IFO and VOB files (the DVD player is supposed to look at the IFO).
If you run IfoEdit and 'Open' the .IFO of a title you can verify and change it if required.
If you change it, use the 'Save' button and when prompted, backup the BUP.
Then proceed through the other Titles.
