DVD Audio to CD...is it possible?

    How can I get the audio on a DVD and burn it to CD? I can creat a .wav file from the dvd and burn it to CD but is this the best way?, and more importantly is it the best quality?

    I use Audio DVD Ripper, Convert it into a mp3/Wav file and burn it onto a cd and it works great!!

    Thanks that was fast. Can you you tell me which is better quality if I were to do that mp3 or wav?

    NO! STOP! Don't use Mp3! Its a "Lossy" format meaning that it compresses audio by subtracting out things it don't need as much. If your options are either WAV or Mp3, you don't have any space limitations, and quality is your main concern then go with a Wave conversion.

    The Best audio compressors are the ones that are based on the "Lossless" concept. Lossless audio codecs don't suffer from quality loss and they create files that are slightly smaller than Wave files (although no where near as small as Mp3 or any lossy audio type format). Examples of lossless audio codecs are FLAC, Monkeys audio, Shorten (.shn), and WMA Lossless.
