Dvd author problems

    I am having problems converting from mpeg to vob. it keeps saying the gop file is too large, can this be fixed?

    Try using the tools section of TMPGEnc Plus to Demultiplex and then multiplex the file. This process will rewrite the headers, and should make the MPEG file more palatable to the authoring program.

    It is now saying that the video resolution is not the rite standard. help!

    You need to re-encode to the DVD compliant format so that your DVD author software allow it. Use MainConcepts Mpeg encoder as it the quickest and best to use and TMPGEnc DVD Author for the vob making. Use these two and you should have no probs!
