    Hi All!

I have just got a brand-new laptop, P4 3.2 Gig, with a DVD+RW. Went out and got some DVD+R's to record a DVD, but as soon as I put them in the drive, the system crashes with a "Blue Screen of Death." The drive reads DVDs and records CDs with no problem!

Any ideas what the problem could be? I've tried two different brands of DVD+R!

The stop error code is 0x0000007F if that helps at all! Hope someone can help, I really wanna burn some DVDs!

    Thanks alot!

PS, it took me less than 5 seconds by copying & pasting this -

    "stop error code is 0x0000007F"

    - into google.

Thanks Pulsar, but already been there and it wasn't too helpful as all it really says is to check my memory which I have done and it's working fine. This seems like an unusual problem to me!
    Will just contact the manufacter!
