Hello, first posting on afterdawn. Need some serious help. I have been using DVD shrink to save movies in an iso file and I have been using DVD decrypter to burn movies onto a blank dvd. The media I have been using is TDK. Everything has been working find until last week. Now, only Shrink works but Decrypter doesn't. I have lost about many blank dvds. I get this error message everytime.

    I/O Error
    Device [1:1:0] Sony DVD RW DRU-530A 2.1a(E:)(ATA)

I have no idea what to do. Any help in getting this problem rectified would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are several methods that you may try:
    1) Completely uninstall and reinstall DVD Decrypter.
    2) Since DVD Shrink still works, use Nero instead of DVD Drcrypter to burn.
    3) Switch to the Nero+DVD43 combination
You may want to use RWs for tests.
    Good luck!

have you tried slowing down burn speed?

i would also try a few RW's to make sure burner is alright as mentioned in previous post.

i would pick up a couple discs of another brand and try them first because most problems are media related.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am trying different media including memorex, sony all with the same results. TDK media has worked well in the past so I doubt the problem is media related. Could there be something with my decrypter or shrink settings?
