i was wondering if I should use aggresive structure removal as the default setting. Would that increase the likelyhood a problem will arise? Normal has always seemed to work although lately I've been getting the "dummy sectors inserted" message on a lot of discs. They play fine though.

I have always used Aggressive. No popup messages either.

Don't mess with something that is working well. Dummy Sectors are inserted beause of "bad or unreadable" sectors on the original disk. Let Decryptor fix it up. If default settings work well leave it alone. Aggressive mode will probably take longer and can't do better if there is no problem in the normal mode.

One of the newer protection schemes uses bad sectors in the pressing. DVD Decrypter is just handling these for you by inserting dummy sectors. Not to worry.
