This Deep Purple video that I mentioned shows that it is MP4 and has 6 chapters,so if I burn it on to DVDR..
A.Will it play on a stand alone DVD player
B.Will the chapter breaks come out like they are on the MP4,or will DVDFlick just make it all one chapter?

I also used MediaCoder to convert the MP4 to Mpeg2.So should I pick that one to burn to DVDR instead?Again,if I do so,will the chapters be at the correct points(meaning right now,the chapters are right where I want them,1 for each song).
I might just take a gamble and see what happens.I'd rather not waste any blanks though.
Sorry about all this as i am a newbie when it comes to DVDFlick.
I'll give the DVDFlick FAQ/guide/tutorial another look.

Well dammit.I just wasted 2 blanks.
I opened ImgBurn to burn an image to a DVDR.But I think what I did wrong was this...
instead of selecting the image files,i opened the file folder, opened the Video-TS file folder and selected everything in it.

hoho.. it helps to read the guide.. You can burn a dvd as a data disk as long as.... you put the audio_ts and video_ts folders complete on the root of the disk. The audio_ts folder will be empty but some dvd players look for it.

My neighbours 6 year old kid can successfully turn an avi file into a working dvd with flick.. why do adults have a problem?

When I tried to convert .mkv files to DVD, I get an encoding error saying that DVD Flick cannot extract stream from MKV files.

I just tried to use DVD Flick. I forgot to click Burn To Disc, and encoded everything. It said it was finished, and I thought it burned it to disc, so I took the disc out to check it, and only then did I realize I hadn't clicked the Burn To Disc option. Is there any way I can still burn this without having to go through another 3 hours of encoding?

It should have saved it somewhere.. search for *.iso .. possibly in the flick directory itself.
