lately I've been burning my video files to DVD. The problem I'm having is that when I watch the DVD's on my tv, the picture appears to be clipped. Not just on the sides, but at the top and bottom of the screen as well. As if the actual picture is a square inch larger then is shown on my tv.
For instance, only half of the subtitles are at the very bottom of the screen. I tried to change the aspect ratio on my DVD player but it only makes a slight difference.

I'm burning the files at a resolution of 720x480. Should I change this resolution or is something else im doing wrong? thx
