i got my first dvd burner hp dvd 400i abotu a year ago. Two months ago it broke so they sent me a new one. I instaleld it and i still had the same problem. So i caleld them about a month after i setup everything and they told me my warranty is expired. so now, i dont want to buy a new dvd burner so maybe yo uguys can help

when ever i try to burn DVD's, it either doesnt detect the disk or gives me a write error in dvd decrypter that says:

I have tried sony DVD+R, TDK DVD+R, and the HP discs that came with the drive
The sony's are Richos while the other two brands arent
ive triend uninstalling and reinstalling the software, the drive, the controllers, and even windows itself with nothing working
