Heres what I want to do. I have just built myself an HTPC and know how to rip my DVD's to hard disk. I want the ability to be able to play my ripped movies from a catalog. In other words like I would setup a playlist in WINAMP, I want to be able to have a list of all ripped moves that I can select to play.

Anyone know of anything like this ???

    Thanks

    Hiya,

There are a few HTPC frontend programs out there, for instance:
    GB-PVR:

    Meedio Essentials:

You could also code it yourself, the easiest way would be to store the ripped DVDs as ISOs and drop them into a virtual drive (Daemon Tools highly recommended for that).

Your DVD Player software will sense the new "disk" and autorun...

    Hope this helps..
