Hi, I used DVDClone IV to rip my DVD to my HD, then edited (took out scenes, etc.) with MPEG Video Wizard DVD, exported edited version back to HD, and then burned with NeroVision 6 at 2x speed. Playback on my stand alone DVD player skips & freezes every few minutes but doesn't skip when I play it on my computer. I've used both Sony DVD-RW and Memorex DVD+RW 4.7 discs with the same results. I've read Verbatim is really one of the better brands to use. Plan to go out and get some today . . . but in the meantime, any other suggestions?? Is Nero adequate to burn, or should I be using something else?? Not sure where the problem is ocurring. Thank you!! Sheryl
Since making this post, I played the DVD on another DVD player. Had a slight freeze at the beginning, but otherwise seemed to play perfectly! Is there something available to clean a DVD player??
