I recently purchased a foreign DVD over eBay. Kung Fu Hustle (a Chinese action/comedy) Well, when I put it into my DVD player, no audio would play. So I tried it in my computer...still no audio. So I figured I would need a codec, I downloaded AC3Filter and voila, audio on my PC. I also decided to explore files on the DVD. All I found were the usual .VOB's in the VIDEO_TS folder...so there isn't an external ac3 file within the dvd, its all embedded into the .VOB's (or I think...I don't really know a lot seeing as I'm new to the whole dvd authoring/ripping scene) Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way for me to convert the audio of the dvd to something that would work for sure..like mpeg 2 audio or whatever, then burn it directly to DVD+R (my format I use)

Please help, I really didn't think I'd have this trouble.

BTW, the dvd is region 1 coded.
