I downloaded a few videos online in the form of video TS files, I used Nero to create a dvd video dvd. The resulting dvd plays fine on my personal computer, but when I try to play the dvd on a dvd player the video gets scrambled. I even tried using DVD decrypter to decrypt the burned dvd and reburn it, but I still get the same scrambling problems.

    Any suggestions?

what kind of media are you using?
have you tried slowing down burn speed?

I am using memorex, and buring at 4x or lower. I dont think the media is the problem because when I burn AVI's I download online they work fine. It is when I download files that have been encoded to dvd format I have the scrambling issue.

i would still try different media because memorex sucks

standalone dvd players are pickier than computer drives

    what are you encoding with?

i use vso's divxtodvd with real good results

try different encoding program and different media
