dvd quality

    when dvd shrink burn a DVD-9 into a 4.7 Gb dvd , does it lost quality???

    In a nutshell, yes. Any time you compress a film there will be a loss of quality. The degree of quality loss is directly related to the amount compression being used - the more you compress, the more the quality will suffer.

    Hey santy, Those large movies that I put on 1 disc,I make sure I use all of shrinks quality enhancements with the serious shrinkage that will be performed.I also cut out all the extras.They turned out pretty darn good for me. Get some rw's and try with and without the enhancements and judge for yourself.Everybody has a different quality level that they prefer.Later
