DVD-R any good ?

    Hi all i am very new to this and i was wondering if you help me out.
    I have burned a back up of an original dvd movie it played great on pc but when i went to play it on my sony playstation it did not reconize it.
    I am useing mitsubishi dvd-r's is that the problem.
    any feed back on this would be great thanks.

    Very likely.

    The general opinion on Afterdawn is to use Ritek.
    There are one or two others that come recommended but I can't remember them at the moment.
    Taiyo Yuden are supposed to be very compatable with most dvd players but they are a little more expensive.

    I normally i use Ritek media for my ps2 but have noticed recently that Bilpak are very compatible for my ps2.Ps2's have very sensetive lazers on them so some media will just not do.Try another media as Agent-k has mentioned you can't go wrong with a good Ritek.
