I just got a Dell laptop of with an 8x Sony DVD+RW burner, and bought some TDK DVD+R disks.

I've been reading mixed things about DVD+R. Will they work? I have Swap Magic w/ the slide card, and I havent tried it yet, but I want to know if it will work before I waste my DVD+R media.

    Thanks

if you have a v5+ ps2 then you should be fine with dvd+r, if you have a v4 ps2 then its about 50/50 if they will work or not, if you have a v1-3 ps2 then you only have a slim chance of them working

I am only using +r media now to backup my games and I don't have a problem with it. I have a v4 by the way. +r media seems to work for me on all games, especially ones that are bigger in size. I've had success on both -r and +r, but I've found that +r has worked on every game I've tried, but -r has been kind of hit or miss. I prefer either Sony or TDK media.
