I've bought (2) batches of 4x DVD+R from Meritline, Ritek and BeAll. Both times the purchases were of a 4x speed but my HP300i is reading them at 2x. I've never had problems reading at 4x before using Ritek. I haven't changed any settings (I don't think). Why is this happening? Also, I've contacted Meritline about this, but have not gotten any support. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I went to the HP site and updated my firmware, and now all the DVD blanks are reading 4x. Thought everyone should know.
