I was wondering if anyone could tell me the significant differences of -R and +R media...The guy at cclcomputers.biz told me that the -R uk sales were almost double that of +R.
    Thanks well in advance guys....

DVD-R is compatible with about 93% of all DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs, whereas DVD+R is compatible with about 87%.

there is no difference really. other than what the last post wrote. They started making 2 different types just as rival companies or something like, at least thats what i read a long time ago. The reason i use dvd+r's is because my plextor will burn the 4x dvd's at 8x.
