hello i have dvd-r writer but at the moment i only got dvd+r blank dvd's i tried to burn it on to dat but cant, is there a way that i can?
If you have Nero, you can go into the infotool and see what media your drive supports, but if you are sure it is a -r drive then do what bilbo65 recommends and use compatible media dvd-r's.
Solely in this post means that the writer will only write to DVD-R/RWs and no other type of disc format.
'solely DVD-R' was in reference to whether you have a singular type drive or maybe a dual format burner [ie; -R(W) & +R(W)] ?? If it is just a DVD-R burner it will not burn +R or +RW
