Not knowingthat the cassette would go into the machine, ny son removed the disk from it's container and used it that way. The other day he noticed a thumbprint on the disk and at my suggestion used a mild solution of dishwashimg detergent to remove it. Now, however, he gets an error message when trying to erase the disk that it cannot be erased. Is this the cleaner fault or is something else wrong? What is the proper procedure for cleaning?bThanks
Here is the best thing to repair/ clean any type of disk DVD or CD Its called DiskDR and cost around 25$ PS. That soap could have very well ruined that disk.. Mineral water is the best bet!
