DVD RECORDABEL DOUBLE LAYER

    I have bought a DVD+R double layer disc and I dont know whether it can burnt with my teac or iomege burner. Can anyone out there show me how to check whether my burner is a double layer burner?

    Hey henryting, just send back the model #'s on both your burners on your next post. someone will tell you if any of them are dual layer.Later

    My TEAC dvd burner is TEAC DV58WGA and my iomege dvd burner is IOMEGA DVDRW12448IND-B.
    Can anyone help to check whether my dvd burner is a dual layer burner.
    Really appreciate if anyone can tell me and show me the way on how to check the burner.

    Hey henryting,Those #'s came up empty on my google and yahoo searches.Maybe someone else has better luck.A quick guess if these are new burners,the odds of dual layer are better than if they are if a year or so older. Good luck
