dvd rip

    im getting the directors commentary (video is fine) when I rip a dvd using dvd decryptor, any ideas?

    Select a different audio track, sometimes the English track is not the default number 1 track. You can go into stream processing and actually deselect the directors commentary if you are so inclined.

    If you are not sure, select all tracks and turn off commentary on the DVD player. What are you using to rip/compress?

    the dvd im backing up is only in one language (english ac3 (2 and 6ch)). Ive tried all possibilities.

    Im ripping with dvd decryptor, not got as far as compression yet but I tried dvd shrink as well and that had the same outcome.

    This is most probably a selection priblem on your DVD player. The commentary can be turned on and off through the menus.
