Sometimes my DVD-Rom drive recognizes discs and sometimes it doesn't and just sits there spinning. Anyone else come across this problem? it's quite infuriating as I can be listening to a CD or watching a movie one minute, then have a dead drive the next. Sometimes it clears up on reboot and sometimes i can put a different disc in and it works, but it all seems so random. -- feduciary
Ye i have had this problem aswell. I had this problem around about the time that my dvd drive broke. If you got warranty with your computer then you can get it replaced for nothing. I did
