Buy Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 4x at supermediastore.com 100 for $30, can't go wrong. If the sale is still going on that is.

I believe the GQ stands for Generic Quality.... ;-)
Have you opened them? If so run one through diskidentifier and let us know the ID Code.. They are probably LeadData, Piotech or Princo... All coaster material :)

It's possible those are fakes... Do you see any writing on the INK side of the disk just above the hub and just before where the ink starts? If so what does it say?

Well, I just blew a few blood vessels in my eyes trying to find it. All I could make out was the Disk speed and type. Their was some other words I couldn't make out though.

A lot of generic brands copy TY's ID code and put them on there disk.. I know I got some from Shop4Tech before.. The genuine TY's should have that marking I told you about before..
