DVD santa burned, now dvd is poor quality, dvd or files?

    I just made my first dvd with .avi and .wmv files and it was easy. My question is that the dvd has poor quality video, is it my video files or did I miss something in dvd santa? I am a newbie at this so any tips would be helpful.

    could be files to start with? and dvd santa in my opinon yeilds crap!

    i use divxtodvd its free and amazing!!!!!

    I notice that the resolution in dvd santa was at 720x480. My files are 320x240. So when I burnt this dvd it made the files 720x480 and made them a bit distorted. Any way around this? should I set DVD santa to 320x240?
