I'm having issues burning DVD's. I've got the the DVD to burn on my harddrive, when I try to burn it using shrink it says I need to put in a DVD-R/RW disc. I'm using DVD-R and they won't work! I've tried everything I can think of - does anyone have any ideas?

Dvd Shrink Doesn't Actually burn the disc it can use dvd decryptor or nero to burn the disc.

Which one are you using ?

If the dvd image was ripped as an iso image file you can download dvd decryptor and use that to burn it.

I use it faithfully to burn iso image's

Co45 makes a good point. We need to know what burner program you're using before we can help. CopytoDVD, Nero Burning ROM, DVD Decrypter, and ImgBurn are supported burners (ImgBurn requires updating). Those need to be selected as the target in the Backup window. If you saved the output files to the HD, that means that Shrink is done and it's strictly a burner problem.
