DVD Shrink and skipping

    I use DVD shrink to rip and the nero plugin to burn dvds but every dvd ive burned has like 15 mins of skipping in the beginning is it because of the dvd shrink? or is it my dvd-r's? im using esa dvd-r. please help

    I would think it's the media. Have you tried different media? I use the Shrink/Nero combo problem and have never seen anything like that come up.

    Media is a possibility. What are you using? Is your dvd player rated to handle the media you are using is another question as well.

    Are you backing up the entire DVD9 to a DVD5 and also using poor media? What speed are you burning at?

    The media is not considered to be of high quality and depending on how much you are asking of it will/might make the difference. Try “movie only” on one of those esa's and see what happens.
