I have been using dvd shrink to backup my dvd's. when i click on backup i back the dvd up to my hard drive. It use to take about 20-30 min. to do so. Now it has been taking 2 hrs. lately. Is there some setting somewhere that regulates the speed of backing up? If so how do i change it?

Your Drive has reverted to the slower PIO setting instead of DMA. Go to your Device Manager and check the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controlers for your secondary drives. You can see in the image the settings you should be looking for.
