Hey, why is it that sometimes when I am getting ready to burn from an original, I only get 2 burning options. The options I am getting are either maxium or 8 speed and since I am using 8x Branded Ridata G05 DVD -R Printable blank media, I have to burn at 8x when I get that option. I usually burn at 2x to be safe even though I am gooding good media. I am playing the disk that I just copied now and it seems to be ok with burning at 8x. Any reason why I can't get an option to burn at a slower speed but this only happens somentimes? Thanks Steve G.
Not really sure why it would be giving you only one option? If you try to burn Data in Nero does it give you other speed options with this same media? If it gives you the same 2 options then try ubdating your firmware for your Writer.
