DVD Shrink-Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy).................

    One DVD discontinues after 55% encoding process, several times....This prompts the error, "Failed to read file F" Data Error (cyclic redundancy. Is it the DVD or what?.......................

    The error cyclic redundancy is normally caused by a scratched disk--try using DVDDecryptor first to rip the DVD then use Shrink as you normally would--Decryrptor is not as picky as Shrink is concerning scratched media--Hope this helps

    Yes, this usually happens when the disk is scratched or DIRTY. Clean the disk you're trying to copy with windex and water. Nine times out of ten, that will fix the problem, even if the disk is scratched (unless the disk is REALLY scratched all to hell).
