DVD Shrink / Decrypter slow down your PC?

    im going to install both these programs soon and was wondering if it slows your pc down any even when there not in use? do they start up by there self when u boot up your pc? any info would be great i like haveing a fast pc as possible.

    <takes a big deep breath> .... Xenokai, seriously you need to do a bit of reading.

    If you are not using Shrink or Decrypter it will not hamper you system at all ... because they are not running.

    And I bring up reading because, it's mentioned in alot of threads. If you are backing up dvds you shouldn't mulitask. Some people are able to get away with it, I know I can ... but I still only run just my dvd backup software. Call it best practice. Hope that helps ... and please don't post this question again.
