I've been using dvd shrink for a short time. It used to take about 2 min. to analyze a dvd and about 25 min. to do the encoding. For no apparent reason the times have jumped to about 6 min for analyzing and up to 1 hr. to encode. Anybody have a clue as to what might have happened and a solution?

thank you for the info. I checked out the IDE controller and it was using PIO and not DMA. Had to set it a couple of times, but it final stuck and burn times have returned to normal. Still consuming alot of CPU usage but I can work around that. That is unless you have any further suggestions. Thanks again.
