Intro: I apologize if this issue has already been addressed. I didn't see it when reviewing threads, so I started a new one. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Bear with me, I am new.)

Situation: I am attempting to Shrink Little Miss Sunshine. I ripped it using DVD Decrypter some time back and no longer have the dvd disc. I am now attempting to Shrink it with DVD Shrink so that I can fit it onto a compilation Data DVD.

Problem: I have tried to click on "Open Files" to load the video, and I have tried to drag it form the folder. Both actions give the same error message:
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
    Failed to open File
The System cannot find the file specified.

(I dont know if this matters, but it is an IFO file.)

    Any suggestions???

    sjandkm,
I suggest that you start using DVDFAB Decrypter to rip the DVD's as DVDD has not been updated in a while.

The problem you are having is the structural problem w/ the disk. You need to use FixVTS(free) now on the DVD files on the HD and then use Shrink on those files.
