dvd shrink error

    WHEN I GO TO OPEN A FILE I GET THE ERROR CANNOT FIND FILE VEDIO TS.FIO WHAT AM I DOING WRONG . IM A NEWBE SO PLEASE HELP

    What DVD are you trying to rip ?

    What proggys are you using ?

    Proggys = programs.

    You say
    We say...What the *%^$& are you talking about?? (Pardon the language)

    What are the files you are trying to open?
    How did you get the files? Did you rip them from your original DVD for a backup? (rip = copy)
    What program are you using to try to open it?
    Basically...we need more info to help.

    What "Guide are you using ?

    im using the dvd shrink program to ripp the files i was sending these files to a document . the next requires me to open up the file thats when i get the
    the error saying that it cant be opened because it cant be found .

    It's not possible to use DVD Shrink to shrink anything other than VOB files. You cannot compress data files. Use either WinRar or WinZip for that. When you wish to compress Video files, then in the "back-up" window of DVD Shrink, you must type in your desired location in the "Select target folder for DVD output files". That is where your files are sent. If you don't remember what you put there, open up DVD Shrink again and when you choose "Backup" the address you put in there the last time should still be there.
