    What's the error message saying?
Also, what movie are you trying to back up?
More than likely, it is a copy protection error, which will require the use of another program along with Shrink to work. DVD Shrink 3.2 is a good program to use, but unfortunately, hasn't been updated in years.

The error message your getting is more than likely caused by what FFsp42 posted.
So rip w/ dvdfab hd decrypter 1st then open those files in Shrink. DVDFab is still updated to handle the new stuff.
