    Hi,

Do you happen to have a considerable amount of background processes?
    Also, are you multi-tasking?
Does this happen while it's analyzing or encoding?

    Hi there,

Are you sure it's frozen or just way way busy and may take a long long time to respond to your commands..

I have an AMD 1 Ghz and it took like 3 hours sometime analyse and shrink a movie. PC would be quite slow...

It's very CPU intense also, are you have heat problems ?

Try it again with the case open, see if it helps !

A few guys on here in the past had heat problems. They would either hang or just crash :)
