    Hello. I've been reading lots of threads, made some progress and finally stuck where I need a little help.

    Running Suse 9.1 personal
    DVD shrink 3.2.0.15
    Wine 20040213

    wine config for cdrom
    {Drive M]
    "Type" = "cdrom"
    "Path" = "/media/cdrecorder"
    "Label" = "SAMSUNG CDRW/DVD SM-352B"
    "FS" = "win95"
    "Device" = "/dev/hdd"

    I start dvd using wine.
    dvd shrink comes up I can see the Ultraman DVD in the drive from the drop down. Once I click on it I get the following error.

    [bold] Failed to read file "M:\" [/bold]
    [bold] Invalid Handle [/bold]

    I've got the latest wine and I've tried using /dev/cdrecorder in the dev path to no avail. Is there a symbolic link I'm missing.
    wine does not support win2k or winxp but I tried puttig that in the config file to no avail also.
    i.e "FS" = "winxp"

    Updated wine. Seems the ftp server I subscribed to did not have the latest wine when I used YaST.

    Now I have Wine 20041201 and a new but familiar error.

    [bold]failed to initialize ASPI device [/bold]

    new version of wine does not have config file but dosdevices directory

    You can't see it in the post but the following links are highlighted in the directory which I'm guessing indicates an error in creating the link. I did run wineprefixcreate also.

    These links are highlighted with black background.
