I use DVD Shrink and DVD43 to back up my movies. My problem is that DVD Shrink is burning all my movies at 1x. I don't like waiting so long for the movies to finish burning. I have the defaults set to maximum, and the burner's max speed is 4x, and the discs I was using were 2x, so I was expecting 2x. Anyone know the problem?

DVDSHRINK really doesn't burn anything. It compresses and deencyrpts to a harddisk. I think you have a different problem then you believe you have. I also want to point out that DVD's play at 1x.

Using DVD43 isn't doing anything at all, DVD Shrink does it's own ripping.

Since you're refering to burning, you really will have to tell us what you're burning with -

If you are using the newest DVD Shrink version, try using Decrypter to burn your DVD Shrink ISO files to disc -
