Does anyone know if there is a real benifit when choosing "perform deep analysis" under quality settings? I know it takes longer when doing this but I was wondering if it was really worth it.

By doing this Shrink will copy the files much better, and the quality of your backup will be better, especially if you are viewing it on a large screen.

I just started using DVD shrink and backed up about 5 DVDs so far, all with the deep analysis option on. So far, the quality is pretty good (meaning I cant tell the diff) with compression levels varying from 60%-90% depending on dvd. However, I have only a standard 27 inch tv without progressive scan capability, so I don't know how much worse the quality is with progressive scan. I also would like to know how quality is affected on a plasma/LCD/DLP TV.
