dvd shrink slows down

    ive been useing dvd shrink for awhile now and after about 25 movies its getting slower and slower by the movie. it takes about 1 hour and 15 min to encode the burning speed is fine. when i first started useing the program i could encode in about 20-30 mins average anyone else have a problem like this. thanks

    I'm looking for an answer to this too. I used to encode at 10 - 20 minutes....now it's over 45 minutes, and nothing has changed..no system changes, same media, same drive, same version, etc.

    depending on the amount of compression, and what your quality settings are,an hour or more is not out of line for encoding time.
    You could check to make sure you data transfer is in dma mode and not pio,in your device manager:http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/storage/IDE-DMA.mspx
